The Water Rail Way National Cycle Route 1 Holland Fen to Lincoln 24 Miles

My usual route to the office is a distance of 28 miles is along National Cycle Route 1 joining the route at Holland Fen taking minor country roads along the River Witham Bank to Kirkstead Bridge where you join the cycle path the water railway route. The route takes you via Stixwould and Southrey old stations to Bardeny Lock. There is a slight detour 2 km via a farmers track where Sustrans couldn't get permissions to pass through the sugar beet processing factory at Bardney. From Bardney along the River Bank to the old station at Washingborough then onto Stampend lock where the route then takes you into the Lincoln city centre.
